On December 21, the government of Tangshan held a coordination meeting on building Tangshan's "Nano Valley" by using Newnagy's nanogenerator technology as a platform.

Tangshan Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Guoying Chen, First Deputy Mayor Xuejun Chen, Deputy Mayor Haiying Wu, and senior officials from the General Office and municipal bureaus attended the meeting.  Newnagy’s CEO, Dr. Charles Hsu, was invited to the meeting and gave a speech.  The government presented the vision of building a "Nano Valley".  Generally speaking, the city will take commercializing the nanogenerator technology in Tangshan as an opportunity to develop the nano-energy industry and accelerate the transformation of the city.
